For 25 years, Randy Owen was the front man and lead vocalist for Alabama. Not just a group, a "supergroup." Alabama has been named "Artist of the Decade" by the Academy of Country Music, "Country Group of the Century" by the Recording Industry Association of America, and "Entertainer of the Year," eight times by the Country Music Association. Last year, Randy served as one of the judges for USA's "Nashville Star." For the first time in several years, Owen is touring again, with a lineup which includes the songs of Alabama.
Opening for Randy Owen will be up-and-coming country star, Kaite Armiger. Katie’s powerful vocals and skillful songwriting are clearly showcased on her debut self-titled album. At the ripe age of 16, Katie does not hold back and has an inspiring combination of determination and passion that shines through in her music. Her voice is beyond her years; strong, skilled and dramatic, while her writing is mature yet, sincere and optimistic. Currently Katie has two singles on the radio "Make Me Believe" and "Let Him Go."
